Launch of new Hydrogen Valleys Knowledge Centre for Hydrogen Valleys and hydrogen practitioners

The Clean Hydrogen Partnership launched the Hydrogen Valleys Knowledge Centre for knowledge sharing and capacity building It is structured around commercial, technical, regulatory and governance topics. In Q4 2025, a series of webinars will be started - more details will be announced soon!

Project Development Assistance Programme

The Clean Hydrogen Partnership provides Project Development Assistance (PDA) for Hydrogen Valleys within the EU or a country associated to Horizon Europe with two support programmes: PDA light and PDA plus.

About the PDA Programme

The PDA services consist of tailored expert assistance, free of charge, to help advance Hydrogen Valleys towards the Final Investment Decision (FID) and will be carried out by the consulting firm Roland Berger with its technical subcontractor Worley.

The PDA support covers four dimensions:

  1. Commercial
  2. Technical
  3. Regulatory
  4. Valley governance

Applicants can apply for one of the two different support programmes:

  • PDA light (6 weeks): Support for early-stage projects to develop a pre-feasibility concept
  • PDA plus (12 weeks): Modular assistance to advance more mature projects towards FID, including a detailed feasibility roadmap

Evaluation results 

The evaluation of the first Call for Applications for Project Development Assistance (PDA) resulted in 15 PDA Beneficiaries representing Hydrogen Valleys from 11 countries. From 36 received applications, 9 PDA light and 6 PDA plus Hydrogen Valley projects from 8 EU countries and 3 countries associated to Horizon Europe. The PDA support starts in November and will be delivered by Worley and Roland Berger.
