Orange.bat

The project consists of an electrolyser of 100 MW to produce green H2 (13 000 t p.a.) in the Municipality of Onda (Valencian Community, Spain) under Hydrogen Purchase Agreements to Industrial Offtakers (ceramic cluster) and for Mobility. The COD is Q1 2027. The H2 will be distributed through a new H2 grid. The green electricity required will be provided by PPAs from renewable energy plants. We partner with leading technology-players in the H2 industry and other EU equipment suppliers.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT PHASE

  • Business model/business case development

The company has the capacity to financially structure and contribute to the project.

  • Political backing and buy-in

The regional Government of the Valencian Community and local Government authority – Onda City Councill support the development and implementation of Orange.bat as a crucial actor to help decarbonise the local economy.

  • Funding

If we have the funding gap closed we will be able to implement the project.

  • Project's business case

With a good business case, with IRR higher than 8%, we will have good projects.

COMMERCIAL AND FINANCING PHASE

  • Securing private investors
