Luso Eco Fuels

Country
Portugal

Luso Eco Fuels is an innovative project in Portugal dedicated to producing green e-methanol. By combining green hydrogen from renewable sources (solar/wind) with biogenic CO2 captured locally, it creates a fully circular, zero-emission fuel. The project targets the decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors, mainly maritime shipping and chemical manufacturing. It drives regional economic growth while perfectly aligning with the EU’s Fit for 55 and REPowerEU decarbonization strategies.
