Hydrogen Hub Noord-Holland

Country
Netherlands

Noord-Holland is an accelerator region for the European transition towards hydrogen. The main activities are concentrated around Amsterdam (North Sea Canal Area), and also include the offshore energy production on the north sea and its connection to Port of Den Helder as landing point. The region is developing green hydrogen-based value chains (import, production, storage, distribution, usage, export) around its airport (Schiphol), seaports (e.g. Amsterdam, Den Helder) and industry (e.g. steel).
