HØST PtX Esbjerg will deploy large-scale industrial use of electrolysis-technology on GW-level to produce green hydrogen. The hydrogen plant will be powered by renewable electricity from wind and solar. Based on CO2-free production process, HØST PtX Esbjerg will be able to offer green molecules to the market for use in industry, fertilizers, and green fuels. The project expects to export most of the green hydrogen to the German market via the Danish‑German hydrogen backbone.
