The joint venture between bp and Iberdrola - Castellón Green Hydrogen S.L – builds a 25MW green hydrogen project, which will be the largest operating project in Spain. The 25 MW electrolyser will be powered by renewable electricity through a power purchase agreement (PPA) supplied by Iberdrola España from photovoltaic and wind farms. bp and Iberdrola continue to explore opportunities to increase green hydrogen production at the Castellón refinery.
