The Clean Hydrogen Partnerships Hydrogen Valleys Facility is launching “Advancing H2 Projects to FID”, a new expert webinar series dedicated to supporting Hydrogen Valley projects move towards Final Investment Decision (FID). Hy
The series is part of the H2V Facilities Knowledge Centre & Capability Building activities and is aimed at Hydrogen Valley developers, local and regional authorities and the wider hydrogen community across Europe. Each session brings practical, expert-led guidance on the commercial, technical, regulatory and governance challenges that determine whether a project can move from announcement to FID by providing participants with insights they can apply directly to their own Hydrogen Valley project.
The series runs every two months, with three sessions in 2026:
- 16th of July 2026: H2 market & offtake: An overview of Europe’s post-hype hydrogen market and the offtake dynamics shaping todays project pipeline
- 18th of September 2026: Key steps in bringing Hydrogen Valley projects to FID: The critical development milestones project must navigate, from project structuring to financial close
- 17th of November 2026: Regulatory insights on RFNBO vs. low-carbon hydrogen: Clarity on classification and how it affects project financing
